I have used Air Handlers for over 22 years and three homes. It is nice to work with a family business who are excellent in their field and honest. I certainly recommend Air Handlers to anyone needing any type of HVAC work. Today, technician Cody performed my preventive maintenance for the fall. Cody was friendly, respectful and thorough. It is nice to know there are still companies like this that really care about their customers.

Today's crew, Marty and Nate, showed up promptly and performed a grimy, unpleasant job replacing ductwork in my crawlspace in a very professional manner. The furnace tech, Matt, also did a great job fixing my furnace a few days ago and finding and showing me the swampy water pooled in the cold air return ductwork. Great job by all 3 men. The schedulers also got the service calls scheduled very quickly. Air Handlers is now my go-to HVAC company.

Deserves six stars or more!Since we switched to Air Handlers Heating and Cooling for our home over five years ago we haven't had a single problem. The technicians are knowledgeable professionals, the communication is timely and accurate, and the business is family owned so none of the ridiculous corporate up-selling or fine print modifiers on their service agreements. Honest, hardworking folks that work to their word. Office staff and field techs are always in synch; never had to explain a situation twice & they've always answered service calls in LESS time than advertised. Old fashioned customer service with 21st century technology. Worth a look if u own a place in Tidewater!

As usual Air Handler's took care of my problems today. Glenn was at my house when he was scheduled to show and got me up and running in no time. Even made a return trip within a couple of hours to get a part that he needed to replace unexpectedly.I would happily refer Air Handler's and Glenn the tech that took care of me, for any of your heating and air conditioner needs.

Always satisfied with the service we receive from Air Handlers. We used a different HVAC company because they were the company that installed our unit, but after multiple service calls and multiple parts needing replacement, we switched to Air Handlers. They have been awesome from the word go.

This is our first time using Air handlers. They were recommended by our neighbor and I will be recommending them to anyone that needs this service. They got us on the schedule right away and the technician, Nate, was very professional and informative. He showed up on time and got us back up and going in a short time then made knowledgeable recommendations. Cost was extremely reasonable. We had two of our HVAC units serviced under our maintenance program. We were very pleased with the service. Kelly called ahead and confirmed the service time. Nate showed up and was very professional and courteous. We have used Air Handlers for several years and they have replaced two of our systems which were aging and performed preventive maintenance also. They are always friendly, courteous, professional, reasonably priced, and contientious . I highly recommend them!!

The Champions Club gives me a great peace of mind that my HVAC system is in good hands.From the initial setup of service to the tech coming out to my home the customer service and friendliness was top notch. On Tuesday Sept 3 thru Sept 10th Air Handers installed a new system including a mini split system in my house/sealed and reinsulated all my duck work. The installation was great, done with professionalism, the installers were polite and knowledgeable, what questions i had they answered when job was complete they did a great job of cleaning up any messes, would highly recommend

Air Handlers was recommended to us several years ago. At that time we bought a Carrier unit from them. They serviced that for a few years and we didn't follow through with the yearly checkups. We needed service again just to be safe. I called on Saturday and it was not an emergency and they came out today(Monday) . Took care of business. Glen was great & explained all he did for us. Glen did a great job making sure my air conditioning unit was working the way it is supposed to be. They response time was great. He worked through the worst of the storm to make sure my family is comfortable as well as went in to finite detail about everything he went though to test. One of our two AC units suddenly stopped working. I called AHHC for assistance and they quickly sent Cody who fixed the AC in less than two hours. He replaced key components that malfunctioned including replacing a very old control panel. Everything works well now. Great service. Very professional. They are my preferred company in the Hampton Roads area. Highly recommended.

Matt came over to look at our a/c problem. He tried everything he could do, but in the end we need to replace the blower motor. Matt was very knowledgeable and professional. I am hoping he will be the one to replace our blower motor.Another tech came out to do the install and his name is Cody. He was also very professional and did an awesome job. I now have my a/c back! This company is awesome to deal with and they came out with their initial assessment on that day I called when others were telling me it would take a week to get someone to come. I’d had another HVAC company come and evaluate one of my office building’s units that stopped working. They showed me pics and suggested I needed to replace one of the units to the tune of 13k. I called Air Handlers thinking I would get a second bid. Lo and behold the tech said it’s a bad board and blower and might be still under warranty. They’re honest and thorough. Guess which company is fired and which one is hired to do all my HVAC work moving forward?

I called Air Handlers for an HVAC system inspection/tuneup and they were able to get me in on the same day (this during our hottest stretch of weather). Cody the technician discovered our unit’s refrigerant was badly under pressurized which accounted for its poor performance. He quickly remedied the problem and was very thorough and professional in checking all aspects of our 2 systems. Great company to work with!

Don't write reviews, but Air Handlers deserves one. This is an honest, competent, well-run company from top to bottom. I have a (reasonably priced) service contract; they call for appointment twice a year and keep my 2 zone system working flawlessly. Just recently, my Ecobee thermostat told me the system was "calibrating" and was cycling off. Nate (the tech) was out the next day to fix the problem (blocked drain tubes) ... life is cool once again. The point is, I called - they came - they fixed, all with no fuss, from the ever pleasant phone call to the knowledgeable Nate. And, the owner was a pleasure to do business with those years ago when I first used this company. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

The technicians who came to diagnose my system were very, polite, knowledgeable, and throughly explained the problem and what it would take to fix it. The technician who came to fix it worked quietly and efficiently replacing the bad parts, testing the system ensuring there no were no leaks and that it was working correctly. I had a wonderful experience with this company. My AC unit went out and I contacted several companies for help and could not get an appointment because they were overbooked. The day I contacted Air handlers, they sent a service technician out to help me within 4-5 hrs to check our system and see where the problem was. They gave me a temporary solution, allowing us to have air in the house after 3 days of scorching heat. That night we were given a quote and able to set up the actual service appointment. The initial appointment was reasonably priced and the price to fix the issue was also reasonable and fair. Service was quick. They did a great job explaining what the problem was and what needed to be done to repair it. This is definitely a 5 star company and I would recommend them to anyone seeking AC service.
